We are a specialist freight forwarder handling a range of goods, varying from biological materials to highly regulated shipments across a global network. We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our Australian finance team. About the Role

This is a hands-on accounts role supporting our cash book accounting function. You'll be responsible for accurate, timely data entry and reconciliation work that keeps our finances running smoothly across a busy freight forwarding operation. Key Responsibilities

Cash book accounting and daily transaction processing Supplier invoice entry with a high level of accuracy General ledger and account reconciliations Preparing routine financial reports Investigating and resolving discrepancies Supporting month-end processes as required General administrative support to the finance team About You

Proven experience in a bookkeeping, accounts payable,



or accounts assistant role Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Comfortable working with high transaction volumes Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar) preferred Well-organised, able to manage competing deadlines A team player who communicates well with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Freight forwarding or logistics industry experience is a plus but not essential Support the Finance manager with other ad-hoc duties. An accounting qualification would be an advantage. Profile
