Early Childhood Educator - Responsible Person/Diploma Big Little Futures Early Learning Nowra – Nowra NSW

Big Little Futures Early Learning Nowra is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator - Diploma (or working towards) - Responsible Person to join our thriving childcare centre. This is a full-time role based in Nowra, NSW 2541. You will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for our young learners.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework

Facilitate developmentally appropriate activities to support children's physical, social, emotional and cognitive development

Observe, document and assess children's progress and development

Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

Ensure the learning environment is safe, secure and conducive to children's wellbeing

Actively participate in continuous improvement and professional development

Work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver exceptional care and education

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (working towards)

Demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a long day care setting





Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and families

Creative, cutting-edge and adaptable approach to teaching and learning

Passion for supporting the holistic development of young children

Commitment to providing high-quality care and education

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications

Working with Children Check (NSW)

Able to work close shift (5.30pm) 5 days
