Entry-Level Roofing Estimator - Insurance Roof Replacements Part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

About the Role CORSA is looking for a Junior Roofing Estimator to join our growing team, working across residential and commercial metal roof replacement projects associated predominantly with hail and storm damage insurance claims.

This is not a new-build or general construction estimating position.

The role is specifically focused on assessing and quoting roof replacement works.

You will review insurer scopes, roof reports, specialist trade reports, site photographs and supporting project documentation, while using satellite and spatial imagery tools to independently measure and assess roofs.

From this information, you will determine the works required, verify quantities and inclusions, identify discrepancies or omissions, and prepare detailed quotations for CORSA’s roof replacement projects.

You do not need to be an experienced roofing estimator. We are looking for someone with the right analytical ability, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations for residential and commercial metal roof replacements

Review insurer scopes, roof reports, specialist trade reports, site photographs and supporting project documentation

Measure and assess roofs using satellite and spatial imagery tools

Calculate roof areas, material quantities and associated project requirements

Identify labour, materials, access, scaffolding, safety and specialist trade requirements

Compare information across multiple sources and identify discrepancies or missing items

Review insurance allowances against the actual requirements of the roof replacement

Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor pricing where requiredPrepare quotation revisions and respond to scope changes





Maintain accurate estimating records and supporting documentation

Manage multiple quotations and priorities while maintaining accuracy

Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify project requirements

Investigate further when information does not reconcile rather than making assumptions

About You You will ideally be:

Analytical and comfortable working with numbers

Highly detail-focused

Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities

Confident using computers and learning new systems

Comfortable reviewing reports, scopes, photographs and technical project information

Able to identify inconsistencies across different sources

Comfortable learning software-based roof measurement

Able to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy

Willing to ask questions and independently verify information

A transparent written and verbal communicator

Comfortable working predominantly in an office-based environment

Interested in developing a long-term career specifically within roofing estimating and insurance restoration

Experience in roofing, construction estimating, quantity take-offs, insurance building, construction administration, quantity surveying, project coordination, cost control or trade-based construction would be advantageous, but is not essential.
