Platypus swim school is a boutique family run swim school, specializing in teaching kids from 18months-8 year-olds in a warm indoor 32C pool. Our school has been open for almost 40 years and has outstanding reputation in the area

We can offer a training program for a right candidate, so you feel comfortable presenting our program to the clients

n

We'll definitely need a teacher for Monday and Tuesday morning, but will have more opportunities for a right candidate

Qualifications & experience

n

- AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia qualifications or equivalent
n
- Experience teaching kids aged 18months-10years old
n
- Working with Children check
n
- First Aid
n
- CPR Certificate
n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

n




- Instructing baby classes from 16-18 months old
n
- Strokes development and corrections
n
- Liaising with parents of children
n
- Monitor safety of the kids while teaching
n
- Creating lesson plans, making sure kids keep progressing through out the course
n
- Being able to think outside the box
n

Permanent 4.5h shifts; Friendly environment with only 2/3 kids per class; Potential progression into supervising role; Enjoy school holiday breaks (approximately 10 weeks terms); Working with highly skilled and diverse staff
