Orana Motor Inn is seeking a qualified and experienced Hotel and Motel Manager (ANZSCO ******) to oversee the daily operations of our motel in Irymple, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering a genuine career opportunity for a hands-on hospitality skilled.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage the overall daily operations of the hotel/motel, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery across all departments
n
- Supervise reservations, reception, front office, room service, housekeeping, maintenance and security operations
n
- Coordinate food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, conference and function facilities
n
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff to maintain high standards of customer service
n
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
n
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control purchasing and oversee accounting activities
n
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation,



workplace health and safety requirements and other relevant statutory regulations
n
- Monitor guest feedback, respond to enquiries and complaints, and implement service improvements as required
n
- Provide guests with local tourism information and assist with arranging tours, transport and other guest services
n

Skills and Qualifications

n

n
- AQF Associate Degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality, Business or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
n
- Proven experience as a Hotel/Motel Manager, Hospitality Manager, Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or in a similar management role
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage accommodation services, guest services, food and beverage operations and staff supervision
n
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work full-time on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required
