Kinvara Civil, a growing civil construction company, is looking for an Intermediate Rigger to join our team. This is a fantastic prospect to work on diverse infrastructure projects and grow your career.
We are a Sydney-based civil construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure and utility projects across New South Wales. We specialise in complex excavations, water, sewer, stormwater, and underground utility infrastructure, with extensive experience delivering works to Sydney Water standards and specifications.

What You'll Do

Carry out intermediate rigging activities across civil construction and infrastructure projects.

Assist with lifting, moving, positioning and securing plant, equipment and materials.

Perform rigging work involving cranes, excavators and other plant and equipment as required.

Select, inspect and safely use lifting and rigging equipment.

Assist with the planning and execution of lifting operations.

Work closely with crane operators, supervisors and site teams to safely coordinate lifting activities.

Establish and maintain appropriate exclusion zones during lifting operations.

Inspect rigging equipment and report damaged or defective equipment.

Follow lift plans,



SWMS and site-specific safety requirements.

Ensure all rigging activities are completed safely and in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations.

What We're Looking For

Current High Risk Work Licence - Intermediate Rigging (RI).

Previous rigging experience within civil construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of lifting and rigging practices and equipment.

Ability to safely inspect and use lifting gear and rigging equipment.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with crane operators and site teams.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

NSW White Card.

Valid Driver's Licence.

Experience working around heavy plant, excavations and underground infrastructure is highly regarded
