We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our busy retail store at Circular Quay.

About the role

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing great customer service and helping with the day-to-day running of the store.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, helpful service
- Assisting customers with product selection and gift recommendations
- Operating the POS and handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Restocking shelves and keeping products organised
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and presentable store
- Checking stock and assisting with deliveries
- Promoting products and encouraging customer reviews
- Following store procedures and completing end-of-shift duties
- Helping create a positive shopping experience for local and international visitors

About you We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Well-presented and professional
- Comfortable speaking with people from different backgrounds




- Able to work independently in a small, busy retail environment
- Has good communication skills and attention to detail
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential

Languages other than English are an advantage due to our international customer base.

Hours

We are looking for someone with flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, public holidays and busy periods.
