We’re growing quickly and looking for a brilliant Sales Manager to help drive the next stage of Common’s growth.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for building relationships with media agencies and brands, generating new opportunities and converting briefs into brilliant commercial partnerships.

This is a hands-on sales role. You’ll own your client relationships and revenue targets, while working closely with our creative, content and partnerships teams to develop ideas that genuinely answer client briefs.

You’ll be selling across the full Common ecosystem - from our social brands, creator shows, podcasts, and bespoke partnerships.

What You’ll Do

- Build and grow strong relationships across media agencies and direct clients.
- Own a portfolio of agency and brand relationships and proactively identify new revenue opportunities.
- Respond to briefs with compelling, insight-led commercial solutions.
- Proactively take ideas and opportunities to market rather than waiting for briefs.
- Sell across Common’s social channels, creator network, shows, branded content and wider partnerships.
- Work with the creative and content teams to turn client challenges into exciting, social-first ideas.
- Pitch confidently to clients and agencies.




- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasting.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing clients into longer-term and larger partnerships.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure campaigns are commercially successful and set Common up for repeat business.
- Represent Common at industry events, meetings and networking opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have experience in media, publishing, social, digital, creator marketing or a similar advertising environment.

More importantly, you’ll be someone who can build relationships, spot opportunities and turn conversations into revenue.

Existing relationships across Australian media agencies and brands would be a major advantage.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means building a strong and consistent pipeline, bringing current advertisers into Common, growing existing relationships and delivering against your individual revenue target.

But it’s not just about one-off deals. We want someone who can turn a first brief into a long-term client relationship and help establish Common as a go-to partner for agencies and brands looking to reach audiences through social, creators and entertainment.
