Catalina Resort is seeking a Body Corporate Cleaner/Senior Housekeeper to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Maroochydore, QLD 4558 and plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our resort's common areas and facilities. As a Body Corporate Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all shared spaces meet our high standards of hygiene and appearance, contributing directly to the experience of our guests and residents. This role is essential to our operations and offers flexibility through casual work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

- Cleaning and sanitising common areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and communal spaces throughout the resort
- Maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchenettes and other shared facilities to the highest standards
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting all designated areas on a regular schedule
- Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting when stock levels are low
- Reporting maintenance issues or damage to management promptly
- Following all health and safety protocols and using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Working flexibly to accommodate the resort's schedule, including early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts as required
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in housekeeping, body corporate cleaning or a similar role within the hospitality or property management industry
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively




- Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout a shift
- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including health and safety practices
- Good communication skills and a professional, friendly approach to working with guests and team members
- Willingness to follow procedures and take direction from management
- Current or willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check (if applicable to your state)
