- Deliver engaging, contemporary and well-structured Design lessons across the secondary years, including Senior Design.

- Support students to develop creativity, critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills through digital design tools, prototyping and project-based learning.

- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
n
- Differentiate teaching and assessment to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
n
- Contribute to the College's co-curricular program and wider community life.
n
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Technologies Department and across the College.

You will bring:

n

- Demonstrated experience teaching Design across the secondary years, preferably including Senior Design.
n
- Robust knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and relevant QCAA syllabus requirements.
n
- Experience with contemporary design technologies, CAD, 3D modelling/printing, digital fabrication and prototyping.
n
- Knowledge of materials, tools, equipment and workshop health and safety practices.
n
- A collaborative, student-centred approach and a commitment to ongoing professional learning.
n
- Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
n

Requirements

- Relevant tertiary teaching qualification
n
- Current, or ability to obtain, QCT registration
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- Full working rights in Australia
