About the role

Base salary from $127,400 per annum (plus super)

Based at our Devonport Depot, the Work Group Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the safe, effective and effective delivery of customer-driven and network maintenance works across the distribution network.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lineworker looking to take the next step in their career and transition into a leadership and coordination role, while continuing to utilise their technical expertise and network knowledge to support operational delivery.

Working closely with field crews, operations teams, customers and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, planning and scheduling work activities, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget. You will act as a key link between the field and office environment, providing technical guidance and operational leadership to support successful project and maintenance outcomes.

- Coordination of various in field activities that support a range of stakeholders
- Planning and scoping works, including identifying labour requirements, equipment, plant, materials and contractor resources.
- Organising and coordinating network outages to ensure the safe execution of work while minimising impacts to customers.
- Providing day-to-day leadership, direction and support to field crews, drawing on your technical expertise to assist in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Promoting and championing a strong safety-first culture, ensuring all work is completed in line with TasNetworks' safety standards and expectations.

About you

This role is ideal for an experienced Lineworker or electrical distribution network professional looking to take the next step into a leadership and coordination position.

You will hold a Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner's Licence and bring strong technical knowledge of distribution network operations, along with the ability to provide leadership, guidance and practical support to field crews. Your well-developed communication, planning and problem-solving skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders while ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll have a strong commitment to safety,



customer service and continuous improvement, with the confidence to make sound decisions in a dynamic operational environment. Participation in overtime and an on-call roster is also a requirement of the role.
