Service Leader | School Plus Worongary State School School Plus is seeking a passionate and motivated Service Leader to join our team at Worongary State School on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Educator or Coordinator looking to gain hands-on leadership experience and take the next step in their OSHC career.

As Service Leader, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team, build robust relationships with children and families, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the growth and success of the service, all while being supported by an experienced Area Manager and wider support team.

About the Role

Lead and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and engaging programs

Build positive relationships with children, families and the school community

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service

Support programming aligned with My Time, Our Place

Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and child-safe practices

Foster a positive, inclusive and welcoming team culture

Champion children's wellbeing, learning and sense of belonging

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about leading teams and creating positive experiences for children.

You may already have leadership experience, or you may be ready to take the next step from a Lead Educator or Coordinator role.

You'll have:

A Diploma in School Age Education and Care, Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification

A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain

Experience working with children in an education or care setting

Strong communication and organisational skills

A genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing
