All-sorts Installations and Security is seeking a skilled Screen & Blind Installation specialist to join our team in Caboolture, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality installation services to our valued customers. As a Screen & Blind Installation specialist, you will be responsible for the skilled installation of screens, blinds, and related window furnishings in residential and commercial properties. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction within the building trades sector.

Key responsibilities

n

Measure and assess window and door openings to determine appropriate screen and blind specifications

n

Install screens, blinds, and related window furnishings with precision and attention to detail

n

Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations

n

Operate and maintain installation tools and equipment safely and effectively

n

Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation timelines, specifications and aftercare

n

Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues or defects promptly

n

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all customer premises

n

Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines

n

Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience in screen and blind installation or similar building trade work (preferred, but not essential)

n

Strong knowledge of different screen and blind types, materials, and installation techniques (preferred, but not essential)

n

Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the installation industry

n

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

n

Measuring and mathematical skills for accurate installations

n

Valid driver's licence

n





Strong communication and customer service skills

n

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights when required

n

General Construction Induction Card (White Card) is advantageous

n

Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

n

Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work
