⭐Cleanworks Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Cleaner to join our team, responsible for supervising and supporting a cleaning team across school sites in Paralowie. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality commercial cleaning standards while supporting and guiding a team to achieve excellent results. You will play a key role in ensuring school facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing clean, safe and welcoming environments for students, staff and visitors.

Level 2 + Leading Hand Allowance
Shift Times: Paralowie: 4:30pm — 8:30pm I Monday — Friday

⭐ About the Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Leading and supervising a team of commercial cleaners

- Allocating daily cleaning tasks and ensuring completion to required standards

- Conducting quality checks and providing feedback and support to team members

- Training and assisting new team members with cleaning procedures and site requirements





- Maintaining solid communication with management and site contacts

- Cleaning classrooms, offices, staff areas and common spaces

- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and amenities

- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces

- Managing consumables, equipment and reporting maintenance issues

- Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed

- Supporting school holiday cleaning requirements when required

Requirements

- Clear communication skills

- Valid and current WWCC and Police Check

- Experience in school or commercial cleaning preferred

- Experience in periodical cleaning (carpet cleaning, window cleaning, scrubber machines) is an advantage

- Professional, well-presented, and confident working in a school environment

- Able to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
