$95,000 – $105,000 Salary + Super | Free Onsite Self-Contained Apartment

Are you an experienced Venue Manager with strong multi-outlet operations, financial management, gaming and team leadership skills? An exciting opportunity is available in Central Western Queensland to take the lead at a well-established regional venue serving locals, travellers and the wider community.

This is a hands-on senior leadership role for a confident hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, driving performance and being involved across every aspect of a busy venue.

THE ROLE

As Venue Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the venue, ensuring each department operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing daily operations across all departments and outlets
- Leading, training and motivating a team of approximately 30 staff
- Managing budgets, reporting and overall financial performance
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and profitability
- Driving local engagement through promotions, events and community initiatives




- Maintaining compliance with licensing, gaming, WHS and operational requirements
- Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service and guest experience
- Building strong relationships with staff, suppliers, guests and the local community
- Providing visible, hands-on leadership across the operation

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for an accomplished hospitality leader who can confidently manage a complex venue and bring energy, structure and commercial focus to the role.

You’ll ideally have:

- Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Hotel Manager or similar senior hospitality role
- Experience managing a multi-outlet or regional venue
- Strong food & beverage, gaming and accommodation operations knowledge
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to develop and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Robust commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets and financial reporting
- Experience with SwiftPOS and Little Hotelier PMS is advantageous
- Confidence overseeing gaming operations including TAB, Keno and Pokies
- A genuine commitment to customer service and community engagement

- RMLV & Approved Manager’s Licence – QLD
- RSA & RSG – QLD
- Gaming Nomination & CLO Certification
