Construction Fastener Supplies (CFS) is a trusted distributor of fasteners, fixings and building products, supplying customers across the construction, mining, civil and industrial sectors.

We're part of the Building & Industrial Supplies Group (BISG), backed by Metal Manufactures Pty Ltd (MMPL), one of Australia's largest privately owned industrial groups.

Based in Wollongong, our close-knit team is now looking to add another person as the business continues to grow.

The Role

Whether you've worked in trade sales before or are looking to build a career in the industry, we're open to someone with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

You'll work across counter sales, customer service and general branch duties, getting to know our products, and building relationships with regular customers. There's plenty of variety, with training and support from the team as you develop your skills.

What You'll Be Doing

- Serve trade customers at the counter, over the phone and via email
- Prepare quotes, process orders and respond to customer enquiries
- Assist with purchasing and supplier orders
- Pick and pack orders and help with general warehouse duties
- Build relationships with regular customers
- Assist with occasional local deliveries when required





About You

You might have experience in trade sales, retail, customer service or a hands-on role and be looking for your next opportunity. We're more interested in your attitude and willingness to learn than your industry experience.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Good customer service and communication skills
- Confidence speaking with customers and a willingness to learn about our products
- A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to help across the branch
- Good attention to detail and the ability to pick up current systems
- A current driver's licence and full Australian working rights

Previous trade sales or industrial supply experience and a forklift licence would be an advantage but aren't essential.
