Group Parts Manager - Multi-Franchise Dealer Group | Coastal Central Queensland

A rare chance to build something, not just run something. Our client is opening a brand new central parts warehouse to supply all three of its sites, and they need a parts leader with real ticker to own it from day one.

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established, multi-franchise dealer group on the Central Queensland coast, backed by a respected national dealer network. It's a stable business with a strong culture - it's nothing for people here to have 15 years under their belt, and there are plenty of them.

The group is investing in its fixed operations with a new purpose-built parts warehouse and a 14-bay workshop going up alongside it. The warehouse will distribute to all three dealership sites, which is why this role is shaping up as a group position.

You'll lead a parts team of around 15 people across roughly 20 brands - a serious breadth of product and a big tick on anyone's resume. There's also a solid trade business already turning over good numbers, with plenty left on the table. Getting out on the road across Central Queensland to build those trade relationships is a big part of the upside here.

You'll report to the Group Fixed Operations Manager, an experienced operator who'll back you and give you room to make your mark.

What You'll Bring

- Parts management experience, or a strong Assistant Parts Manager / Parts Supervisor ready for the step up - drive and attitude count as much as years in the chair
- A commercial head - comfortable with stock management, obsolescence, margins and gross
- A genuine appetite for growing trade and wholesale business, and building relationships face to face
- Leadership that brings people with you - coaching,



setting the standard and keeping the team moving
- The energy to help shape a new warehouse operation and make it better than what's gone before
- Openness to relocating to Central Queensland if you're not already local
