You'll return to the same community and healthcare team each swing, allowing you to build strong relationships with your colleagues, patients, families and the local community.

- $3,000 Curis sign-up bonus*
- N4 base salary to $141,804 + Super + On-call
- Permanent Full-time FIFO position
- FIFO roster 6 weeks on and choose your off swing
- Free fully furnished accommodation including utilities and Wi-Fi
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum
- Meals & Entertainment packaging up to $2,650 per annum
- 30 days annual leave and 17.5% leave loading
- Post-Graduate qualification allowance 2.5% loading on ordinary hours

The Role

As a Remote Area Nurse, you will provide comprehensive primary healthcare within a remote Aboriginal community, working across acute presentations, chronic disease management and preventative healthcare.

You will work with an experienced team and have the chance to use and develop a broad range of clinical skills while enjoying the continuity of returning to the same community and team each swing.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

- Providing primary healthcare across acute and chronic conditions
- Assessing and managing urgent and emergency presentations
- Supporting chronic disease management and preventative healthcare
- Working alongside Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Health Workers and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Developing your remote nursing skills and clinical autonomy
- Building strong relationships with patients, families and the local community
- Participating in the first-on-call and after-hours roster

Essential Criteria

- Be fully registered with AHPRA with no restrictions
- Have a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience
- Have strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Have experience in remote, rural, primary healthcare or emergency nursing
- Hold a current unrestricted driver's licence
- Have full Australian working rights
