This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor looking to step into leadership, or an existing Team Leader seeking a more supportive and flexible environment.

Our client is a well-established boutique Occupational Rehabilitation provider with nearly 20 years in business, known for delivering high-quality workplace rehabilitation services and maintaining strong relationships across the NSW market.

The business takes a genuinely person-centred approach, not only with clients but also with its team. There is a strong focus on sustainable workloads, quality outcomes, collaboration and giving experienced practitioners the autonomy to do their best work.

You will lead and support a small team while maintaining a modest, manageable caseload, allowing you to stay connected to rehabilitation work without being overloaded with billable expectations.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead, mentor and support a small team of Rehabilitation Consultants
- Manage a manageable portfolio of Workplace Rehabilitation cases
- Deliver Same Employer and Different Employer rehabilitation services
- Provide guidance around complex cases and return-to-work strategies
- Build relationships with employers, insurers, treating professionals and other stakeholders
- Support team performance, development and service quality
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and improvement of the business

About You You will ideally have:

- A degree in Rehabilitation Counselling or another relevant rehabilitation discipline
- 2+ years' experience within NSW Workers Compensation / SIRA Occupational Rehabilitation
- Strong experience managing workplace rehabilitation cases
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- An interest in mentoring and developing others
- Previous leadership experience, or a genuine desire to progress into leadership
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Current Australian driver's licence
