Rex Plumbing offers a comprehensive range of plumbing services in both residential and commercial fields with clients across Government, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Healthcare and Education sectors.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team and kick-start a career in the trade. This role would suit a school leaver, or someone looking for a change, who is keen to learn from experienced, qualified plumbers.

You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team who are hardworking, highly motivated and enjoy a laugh along the way.

Based in North Melbourne, we service clients across all of Melbourne.

About You:

- No prior experience necessary. Just a genuine interest in a career in plumbing and a strong work ethic
- Willing to attend TAFE/RTO training as part of your apprenticeship and apply what you learn on the job
- A problem solver. You show initiative in solving problems the right way, not the easy way!
- Someone who doesn’t mind their own company. Can work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Professional and well presented, with great communication skills
- Will focus on being safe every day in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Good with words.



You are able to write clear and concise job notes
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn from experienced tradespeople

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enrol in, a Certificate III in Plumbing
- Current or willing to obtain a red/white card
- Current driving license
- Able to obtain Police and Working with Children (Employee) Checks
