Automation Process Analyst

We are seeking a part-time Automation Process Analyst to join our team, with flexible and negotiable working hours to suit the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will be a mature, highly organised professional with strong communication skills, experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a similar role, and the ability to think logically. You will work with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into practical, workable automation and process solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Working with stakeholders, analyse business processes, to understand pain points, manual hand-offs and improvement areas.
- Gather, document and translate business requirements into clear process maps, SOPs, workflow documentation and structured briefs for the development team.
- Coordinate automation projects from idea through to delivery, including tracking actions, timelines, project updates, and managing the expectations of stakeholders throughout.
- Support testing, implementation and continuous improvement by assisting users through UAT, gathering feedback and helping ensure automation outcomes deliver practical business value.
- Maintain automation governance and documentation, including registers, knowledge bases, project artefacts and reporting that supports prioritisation and visibility of automation initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in business analysis, project coordination or process improvement,



with the ability to understand how work gets done and identify opportunities to simplify, improve and automate.
- Strong process documentation skills, including the ability to produce clear requirements, process maps, SOPs, workflow diagrams or similar documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong organisation and priority-setting skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple pieces of work, track actions and keep projects moving.
- A practical, curious and detail-focused mindset, with the ability to ask good questions, understand business problems and translate discussions into clear next steps.
- Comfort working with distributed or overseas teams, including the ability to communicate clearly and maintain momentum across different working styles or locations.
