ExperiencedLaboratory Technicians

for a casual assignment.

This role is a casual position, working

rotating day and night shifts

(12-hour shifts across a 24/7 roster). Hours may vary from week to week depending on production schedules. This role will require you to complete a pre-employment medical and will be starting in August, for approximately 4-6 months.

As a laboratory technician you will be responsible for QC analysis using HPLC, as well as routine chemical and physical testing of in-process products. Other duties will include equipment calibration, preparing standards for analytical equipment and assisting the Quality team.

Selection Criteria: To be considered for this position you

MUST

have:

Bachelor of Science,



preferably Chemistry, but other disciplines will be considered;

Previous experience working in the beverage and/or food manufacturing industry is advantageous;

Demonstrated laboratory technical skills in wet chemistry and analytical techniques;

Experience working with HPLC is essential;

Knowledge of operation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment;

Understanding of GMP highly desired;

High attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills;

The ability to work in a rapid-paced environment;

Ability to work autonomously and excellent communication skills;

Your own reliable vehicle (this company is not located near public transport)
