Warehouse Storeperson - Receival and Dispatch

Location: Coopers Plains, 4108
n Employment type: Permanent, full time
n Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional Saturday Shift (Rotating roster, roughly 1-2 shifts a month)
n Remuneration: $32 –$35 per hour, depending on experience
n Start date: Immediate or by agreement

About the Role:

n

The successful applicant will be working in a role at our warehouse in Coopers Plains (right by the train station!)

n

This is primarily a warehousing role: You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring products are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

n

You don't need a warehouse background to thrive in this role. We're more interested in who you are than what you've done. We're looking for someone organised, detail-oriented, and genuinely reliable.

n

Requirements:

n

A current Driver's and LF forklift licence is required.

n

Good level of fitness with the ability to complete manual handling tasks. The position requires the safe handling of products weighing 20kg and above.

What you'll be doing:

n

Your working hours will be between 8:00am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday plus potential for Saturday shifts, after-hours work and maybe even away jobs!

n

You will spend most of your time receiving and storing stock, preparing stock for our delivery team, maintaining organization in the warehouse.

n

Greeting and assisting customers over the bench

n

Key Responsibilities Include:

n

Receiving and checking incoming stock against purchase orders

n

Labelling and storing stock in warehouse locations

n

Picking and packing customer orders accurately

n

Maintaining accurate stock records within the company's inventory system

n

Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and well organised.

n

Operating a forklift to load, unload and relocate goods.

n

Supporting the internal sales and delivery teams as reasonably required.
