About the Role

n

As the Finance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership and performance of the Casino branch. You will lead a team, develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and ensure the branch delivers exceptional customer outcomes while operating within a strong risk, compliance and governance framework.

n

You will be a visible and trusted representative within the local community, developing relationships with customers, businesses, professional networks and community organisations.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead the Casino branch and execute business plans to achieve growth and performance objectives.
n
- Drive growth across lending, investments, asset finance and referral opportunities.
n
- Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, local businesses, community groups and key stakeholders.
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support customers with their lending and investment needs.
n




- Manage key customer relationships and assist with complex customer enquiries.
n
- Identify and maximise referral and business development opportunities.
n
- Lead, coach and develop branch employees, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
n
- Conduct performance discussions, workforce planning and training activities.
n
- Oversee branch operations, workflow, records and reporting.
n
- Ensure branch objectives, budgets and performance targets are achieved.
n
- Maintain strong risk and compliance practices across lending, investments and branch operations.
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian Credit Licence (ACL), AML/CTF, privacy, internal policies and procedures.
n
- Identify, manage and elevate operational, compliance and reputational risks appropriately.
n
- Support audit, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
n
- Represent the organisation positively across the Northern Rivers community.

About You

n

You will be an experienced finance, banking or financial services professional with strong leadership capability and a genuine commitment to delivering great customer outcomes.

n

To be successful, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in banking, finance, lending, investments or financial services.
n
- Strong people leadership, coaching and development skills.

- Proven relationship management, sales and business development capability.

- A sound understanding of credit, lending and financial services compliance obligations.

- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- The ability to build trusted relationships with customers, businesses and community stakeholders.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to risk and compliance.
n
- Relevant finance, business or management qualifications will be highly regarded.
