This is: the job An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced SAP Basis Lead to join a major enterprise transformation program delivering SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM and a broad suite of SAP cloud solutions.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring the SAP platform remains stable, secure, high-performing and ready to support a complex transformation.

You'll act as the senior hands-on SAP Technical Specialist, providing leadership across SAP Basis architecture, environment management, technical governance, releases and platform operations.

This is a 12-month Melbourne based contract, offering the opportunity to shape a large-scale SAP transformation while influencing technical direction, platform strategy and operational readiness across a sophisticated SAP ecosystem.

This is: what you'll do

- Lead SAP Basis governance, architecture and landscape strategy across S/4HANA, EWM and associated SAP platforms
- Manage environment planning, provisioning, refreshes and readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee SAP upgrades, migrations, platform changes and technical remediation activities
- Drive release, transport and change management processes across multiple SAP environments
- Collaborate with implementation partners, support providers and project stakeholders to deliver technical outcomes
- Lead resolution of complex SAP technical issues, risks and environment challenges
- Support testing, cutover, deployment and hypercare activities during key program phases
- Coordinate disaster recovery, resilience and business continuity testing activities
- Maintain technical standards, architecture documentation and operational readiness artefacts

This is: what you'll need

- Extensive SAP Basis experience supporting large-scale SAP landscapes




- Proven delivery experience across SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, migrations or transformation programs
- Strong knowledge of SAP RISE and SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) operating models
- Hands-on expertise with SAP HANA Database administration and performance optimisation
- Experience supporting SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite/CPI and Cloud Identity Services
- Exposure to SAP EWM, SAP Analytics Cloud, Ariba, Concur and SuccessFactors environments
- Experience coordinating technical activities across vendors, partners and support teams
- Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capability
- Solid documentation, governance and BAU transition experience
