We are seeking an experienced, reliable and professional Security Supervisor to join our team.

This is a hands-on supervisory position combining the responsibilities of a Security Officer with the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the security team.

You will be actively working on site, conducting regular foot patrols, responding to incidents and carrying out general security duties, while also overseeing staff performance, coordinating rosters and acting as a key point of contact between the security team, company management, the client and other stakeholders.

This role would suit an experienced Security Supervisor who enjoys being operational and leading from the front rather than working in a purely administrative position.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct regular foot patrols and general security officer duties.

· Maintain a professional and visible security presence.

· Respond to security incidents, emergencies and other situations as required.

· Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to security officers.

· Prepare and manage staff rosters, including arranging coverage for absences and roster changes.

· Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, presentation and performance.

· Ensure security officers follow site procedures, post orders and company requirements.

· Act as a key point of contact between the security team, client and company management.

· Communicate professionally with staff, clients, contractors, customers and other stakeholders.

· Prepare accurate incident reports, shift reports and other required documentation.

· Assist with the induction and training of security officers.

· Manage difficult situations and conflicts calmly and professionally.





· Liaise with emergency services when required.

· Escalate significant incidents, staffing or operational matters to management.

· Lead by example and maintain a professional and respectful team workplace.

About You The successful candidate will be an experienced security professional who is comfortable carrying out regular security duties while also taking responsibility for leading and coordinating a team.

You will ideally have:

· Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Security Team Leader or in a similar security leadership position.

· Strong hands-on experience as a Security Officer.

· Demonstrated experience preparing and managing staff rosters.

· Experience coordinating staff and arranging last-minute shift coverage.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Confidence communicating with clients, management, employees, contractors and members of the public.

· Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.

· The ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions under pressure.

· Good organisational and time-management skills.

· A professional, approachable and respectful manner.

· Good computer skills and confidence using electronic reporting, rostering and communication systems.

Essential Requirements

· Current NSW Security Licence appropriate to the duties of the position.





· Current First Aid Certificate.

· Demonstrated experience within the security industry.

· Previous security supervisory or team leadership experience.

· Demonstrated experience managing staff rosters and shift coverage.

· Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

· Ability to complete incident reports and other security documentation to a professional standard.

· Full working rights in Australia.

· Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.

Highly Regarded

· Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

· Previous experience in a customer-facing or high-traffic environment.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can be both a strong Security Officer and an effective team leader.

You should be comfortable spending your shift on the floor conducting patrols and responding to incidents, while also taking ownership of the security team and ensuring the operation runs smoothly.

You will need to be organised enough to manage rosters and staffing issues, confident enough to provide direction to security officers, and professional enough to represent the company when dealing with the client and other stakeholders.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who communicates well, leads by example and takes responsibility for their team and site operations.
