About the Company

We are a Canberra-based electronic security and communications company, delivering professional solutions across CCTV, alarms, and structured cabling systems. We are looking for a skilled and motivated technician to join our growing team on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and service electronic security systems, including:
- CCTV surveillance systems
- Alarm systems
- Access control systems (preferred but not mandatory)
- Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and system testing.
- Install and certify structured cabling (Cat 5e, Cat 6/6A), intercoms, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, building plans, and technical documents.
- Deliver system demonstrations and support to clients.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with Work Health & Safety regulations.

Skills & Attributes

- Minimum 2 years' experience in the security or electronics industry.
- Hands-on experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Paradox, or Inner Range.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable,



punctual, and committed to quality work.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

- Open Cabler Registration with structured cabling endorsement (mandatory)
- White Card (mandatory)
- Security Installer Licence (ACT) or willingness to obtain
- Driver’s Licence (manual or automatic)
- Must be eligible to work in Australia:
- Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
- Or candidates eligible for 482 visa sponsorship
