ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Lead, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful financial outcomes across the business.

This is a broad and hands-on position that combines technical accounting, financial reporting, compliance and business partnering responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to strengthen governance processes, support operational decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Based in our Brisbane CBD Head Office,



this permanent role offers exposure to a diverse range of accounting activities within a energetic and growing organisation.

Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Manage accounting for fixed assets, capital expenditure, project reporting, foreign exchange, fuel tax credits and inventory
- Support payroll accounting, revenue accounting and broader finance operations
- Prepare and coordinate monthly and quarterly compliance reporting, including BAS, payroll tax, royalties and ABS surveys
- Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and review processes
- Support external audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Identify financial risks and implement effective remediation actions
- Contribute to process improvement, automation and finance transformation initiatives

ABOUT YOU You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have strong technical accounting capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with both finance and operational teams,



and are motivated by delivering high-quality outcomes that support business performance.

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Experience in payroll accounting, compliance reporting and audit requirements
- Strong month-end and financial reporting experience
- Demonstrated ability to strengthen financial controls and governance practices
- Experience partnering with operational and corporate stakeholders
- Track record of improving finance processes, systems and efficiencies

You will require the following qualifications, skills, and competencies:

- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Senior accounting or financial reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial controls
- Advanced SAP and Excel capability (S/4HANA experience highly regarded)
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving capabilities
