Senior Accountant, Perth CBD, Fantastic Salary An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded organisation on an initial 6-month contract. Working within a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of the financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities across a diverse portfolio of assets.

This role will suit a commercially minded accountant who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and providing high-quality financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting of an assigned portfolio.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, reviewing and challenging assumptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with internal policies and reporting requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Manage monthly accruals, reforecasts and reporting activities.
- Prepare quarterly group reporting packs,



including analysis of actual results against budget and forecast.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all additions, disposals and asset movements are accurately recorded.
- Present monthly and quarterly financial results to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Determine and apply appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks.

About You

- CA/CPA qualified.
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Accountant or similar financial reporting role.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
