Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubbo, NSW, responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and advisory services to a portfolio of business clients. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reports, as well as managing general ledger reconciliations and month-end processes. The role involves analyzing financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering clear,



actionable advice aligned with clients’ business goals, particularly within agribusiness and related industries.

The Senior

Accountant will collaborate closely with team members to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, and will participate in client meetings, workshops, and mentoring sessions to strengthen long-term client relationships. This position also contributes to continuous improvement of internal processes, maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

- Robust technical accounting skills, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end processes.
- Tax and compliance expertise, including preparation and review of tax returns, knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software and related tools (e.g., Xero, Figured).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting; professional accreditation (e.g., CA or CPA) or progress toward it is highly regarded.
- Experience working with agribusiness or regional Australian enterprises is beneficial, along with a genuine interest in supporting business growth.
