Senior Administrator - Support & Operations

Location: Adelaide

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Administrator - Support & Operations to provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support within a dynamic enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with Microsoft technologies, and a passion for delivering exceptional end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and end-user computing issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Intune.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, group policies, and security settings through Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Perform hardware deployments, upgrades, replacements, imaging, and asset lifecycle management activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, remote support teams, and client stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support meeting room technologies, audio-visual equipment, video conferencing platforms,



and collaboration tools.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, asset inventory, and knowledge articles within ITSM platforms.
- Follow ITIL-based processes for Incident Management, Service Requests, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Conduct proactive health checks on IT infrastructure and endpoint devices to ensure operational stability.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, security policies, and operational procedures.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain effective communication with users across all levels of the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support, End User Computing (EUC), or IT Operations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 10/11 Administration
- Microsoft 365 Suite
- Microsoft Intune
- Active Directory
- Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
- Group Policy Management
- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and hardware lifecycle processes.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and service management best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.

Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation Certification.




- Microsoft Certifications (M365, Azure, Intune, Endpoint Administrator).
- Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments.
- Experience supporting meeting rooms and video conferencing technologies such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.
