Are you an experienced Application Developer with strong Microsoft Azure integration expertise? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile federal government environment, contributing to the delivery of critical digital services and enterprise integration solutions. The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise integration solutions across a complex ICT landscape. You will play a key role in delivering modern cloud-based integrations, APIs, and digital services while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain Azure-based integration solutions and Web APIs
- Build and enhance enterprise integration capabilities using Microsoft Azure services
- Support data sharing and system interoperability across multiple enterprise platforms
- Improve and maintain Azure DevOps deployment pipelines and automation processes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and architecture artefacts
- Investigate and resolve complex application and integration issues
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver project milestones
- Identify and manage delivery risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Mentor developers and support teams on integration best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the application lifecycle

Requirements Essential Skills & Experience

- Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience




- Strong experience developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure, including:
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure App Service
- Azure Functions
- Azure API Management

- Demonstrated experience developing solutions using the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET Framework
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working within complex ICT environments and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management and ITIL practices
- Understanding of current and emerging technologies and their business applications

Desirable Skills

- Azure DevOps (VSTS) experience
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience with ICT governance and project delivery
- Agile delivery experience
- Relevant Microsoft or industry certifications
