Powder Coater

- $35 - $50 per hour based on experience
- Monday to Friday roster
- 6am 2/3pm

About the Client:

Our client is a proudly Western Australian company specialising in high-quality surface finishing and metal fabrication services. Based in Wangara, the company operates a modern, high-tech powder coating facility equipped to deliver reliable and professional results across a wide range of projects.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Responsible for preparing metal components for powder coating through cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and other surface treatment processes. Operate powder coating equipment and select the appropriate powder type, colour, and application settings to meet project specifications. Load and unload products from curing ovens while monitoring temperatures and curing times to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.

- Conduct quality inspections to ensure coating thickness, colour, finish, and overall presentation meet required standards. Identify and rectify coating defects through touch-ups and rework where necessary, while reading and following job sheets, work orders, and coating specifications. Monitor powder usage and minimise material waste throughout the coating process.

- Maintain powder coating booths, spray guns, curing ovens, and associated equipment, reporting faults, quality issues, and safety concerns to supervisors.



Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including appropriate PPE and safe chemical handling, while maintaining a clean and organised work area. Assist with the safe handling, packing, and dispatch of completed products to support an efficient production workflow.

What You Will Need:

- Powder coating experience mandatory
- Drivers Licence with your own reliable transport
- High risk forklift licence preferred
