Fork Force Australia Pty Ltd – Caboolture QLD

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing a wide range of materials handling equipment. This role provides a varied workload, combining preventative maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs, and customer support, while offering the opportunity to work independently and develop solid technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on materials handling equipment and associated machinery

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults

Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Complete breakdown repairs in both workshop and field environments

Install, commission and test equipment as required

Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding operation and maintenance

Maintain accurate service records, job documentation, and parts usage

Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures

Collaborate with other technicians and departments to achieve customer and operational objectives

Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times

Qualifications & Experience

Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive, Diesel Fitting or a related field preferred

Experience servicing and repairing forklifts, access equipment, construction equipment, or similar machinery advantageous

Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills





Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence

Forklift licence and other relevant licences/tickets advantageous
