KDM Financial and Estate Planning – Brisbane QLD

KDM Financial & Estate Planning is continuing to grow and build out our

Adviser Support Team , and we’re looking for the right person to join us in either our

Lutwyche or Mt Gravatt office .

You’ll be joining a young, dynamic and growing team working with a diverse client base across a wide range of financial planning strategies.

We’re open on experience level.

This role could suit someone who is

just starting out in financial planning with little or no industry experience , through to

an experienced Adviser Associate, Client Service Officer or Paraplanner

looking for a broader role with genuine career progression.

For the right person, the position can be shaped around your existing experience and where you want your career to go.

The role

Supporting advisers with the management of their client portfolios

Preparing for client meetings and gathering required information

Assisting with Statements of Advice, Records of Advice and strategy preparation

Undertaking product, superannuation, investment and insurance research

Assisting with advice implementation and following up outstanding actions

Preparing review documentation and supporting ongoing client reviews

Liaising with clients, insurers, superannuation funds and product providers

Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

Completing post-advice and compliance checks

Working with our administration, paraplanning, implementation and compliance teams

Attending client meetings and developing client-facing skills

Taking on greater technical and advice responsibilities as your experience develops

For someone more experienced, there is scope to take on greater responsibility across

strategy development, advice preparation, client management and mentoring junior team members .

For someone entering the profession, we can provide structured training and development from the ground up.

About you





Graduates or students completing a financial planning or related degree

Candidates with little or no financial planning experience who are keen to build a career in advice

Client Service Officers or Adviser Support staff looking to progress

Experienced Adviser Associates or Paraplanners

Candidates working towards becoming a Financial Adviser

Experienced support professionals who enjoy the technical and client-management side of financial planning

More important than a specific number of years’ experience is that you are:

Organised and reliable

Comfortable working as part of a team

Robust on attention to detail

Confident communicating with clients and colleagues

Keen to learn and take on additional responsibility

Interested in building a long-term career in financial planning
