The Disability Company (VIC) – Beveridge VIC We are seeking a Support Worker to support a young female client with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 2. The ideal worker will have a warm, patient and nurturing approach. Shift Available: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3:15 pm–6:15 pm Primary Support Worker Support includes school pick-up, providing a calm transition home, supporting sensory and emotional regulation, and assisting with after-school routines, activities, food, dressing and community participation as required. About the Role We are looking for Disability Support Workers to provide a variety of supports to people with a disability. You will aid with all aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic care, social and community participation, and transportation. Our clients are looking for an engaging, fun and bubbly Support Workers, who are great at providing encouragement, whilst working towards their NDIS Goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong documentation and reporting abilities A positive, interactive attitude that encourages and uplifts clients Initiative to advocate for clients and ensure quality care Flexibility and adaptability in challenging situations A knack for organising and actioning daily tasks Reliability and the ability to work unsupervised Prior experience in the care sector Knowledge of supporting individuals with
