Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform abrasive blasting and water blasting on large industrial structures and components
n
- Complete surface preparation including sanding, masking, and demasking
n
- Carry out filling and fairing repairs to damaged surfaces
n
- Apply primers, undercoats, and topcoat paint systems
n
- Operate airless spray equipment and pot spray systems
n
- Complete brush and roller painting as required
n
- Conduct fire watch and confined space watch duties when required
n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
n
- Follow quality management systems and workplace procedures
n
- Support wider operational requirements as required
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Essential:

n

n
- Trade qualification in Abrasive Blasting, Industrial Coatings, or similar
n
- Previous experience in industrial painting and blasting environments
n
- Experience working on large-scale structures, heavy industry, or marine projects
n
- Ability to work safely and meet quality standards
n
- Strong understanding of blasting and coating processes
n
- Confined Space certification
n
- Working at Heights certification
n

n

Highly desirable:

n

n
- Forklift licence
n
- Fire Fighting training
n
- First Aid Certificate
n
- Previous experience in ship repair, marine, or heavy industrial environments
n
