ABOUT THE ROLE
n
As an Underground Service Crew, you will provide safe ventilation, air, and water supply, dewatering and paste reticulation support to enable mine development and production crews to achieve their targets.
n
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
n
n
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
n
- Collaborate with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers.
n
- Execute tasks following mine plan instructions, profiles designs, and ground support patterns.
n
- Operate underground equipment and light vehicles safely and efficiently.
n
- Maintain transparent communication, including hand signals, and adhere to safety protocols in confined environments.
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
n
- Minimum 12 months experience as Underground Service Crew Operator(essential)
n
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge of underground machinery(essential)
n
- Current Western Australian DGSC(essential)
n
- Underground Metalliferous Mining Certificate II, III or IV(desirable)
n
n
