Our client is a growing Australian food manufacturer with an established domestic footprint and expanding international presence. They are seeking an experienced Export Manager to take ownership of export operations across key offshore markets.

The Role

Reporting to a senior commercial leader, you will manage the end-to-end export process, ensuring shipments are delivered on time, compliantly and in specification.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Manage export orders, freight bookings, inventory and shipping schedules.
n
- Coordinate temperature-controlled shipments and maintain cold-chain integrity.
n
- Prepare and verify export, customs and commercial documentation.
n
- Manage export permits, certifications and destination-market requirements.
n
- Partner with Quality, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance and warehouse teams.
n
- Manage freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and offshore logistics providers.
n
- Monitor shipment performance, resolve issues and manage claims.
n
- Track landed costs and identify opportunities to improve export efficiency.
n




- Support the introduction of new international markets and customers.
n

About You

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- 3–5+ years' experience in export or international logistics within food, FMCG or manufacturing.
n
- Experience with temperature-controlled or perishable products.
n
- Robust understanding of Australian export requirements and international market compliance.
n
- Experience managing freight forwarders, customs brokers and international logistics partners.
n
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation and international freight.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach.
n
- Experience working with ERP systems and export documentation.
n
- Dairy or highly regulated food export experience will be highly regarded.
n
