Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services. We are accepting expressions of interest a permanent part time experienced Clinical Nurse who prides themselves in providing high standards of care with a professional and positive attitude, with the ability to lead nursing teams in our older persons mental health/medical rehabilitation ward. We have one permanent part-time position available,
offering 22 hours per week 3 day per week on a rotating roster. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience Previous experience in mental health services Ability to mentor staff and lead nursing teams in a calm, professional manner Proven problem solving and de-escalation skills Solutions focused and desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture Analytical skills to assess and evaluate health information to provide quality patient care Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team displaying a ‘can do’ attitude Proven commitment to professional development and quality improvement Open honest approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality Must have a high level of documentation understanding and compliance and able to perform audits Must provide a National Police check within the past 3 months and evidence of immunisation for MMR, Pertussis, Varicella, Hep B. Experience working with patients with older persons mental health Completion of a recognised Graduate Nurse Program, a specialist clinical qualification or ongoing education
