You will set up and operate CNC turret punch machines (Amada) to produce components to specification. This is a hands on role in a clean, organised, and safety focused workshop.
Key responsibilities
Operating CNC turret punch machines (Amada)
Completing machine setup, tooling changes, and adjustments
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Measuring and inspecting components for quality
Maintaining tooling and machine cleanliness
Working with the Operations Manager and production team to meet daily targets
Performing routine machine maintenance and keeping the work area clean and organised
Following WHS procedures at all times
About you
3+ years CNC turret punch experience
Strong tooling and setup knowledge
Ability to read drawings and measure accurately
Sheet metal or fabrication background
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills
Forklift licence an advantage
Experience sharpening and maintaining Turret tooling using the Surface Grinder an advantage
