MANAWISE Care is growing in Brisbane South, Queensland and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a permanent Part Time basis.

About the Role You will be working across our residential homes, currently located in

Algester, Runcorn, Forest Lake and Coopers Plains

with exciting opportunities to support new homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.

As a Care Practitioner, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment

Build robust, positive relationships with young people

Support emotional, social, and life skill development

Encourage healthy decision‑making and wellbeing

Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans

Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports

Essential Requirements

Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field

Current,



unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class)

Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)

First Aid & CPR certification

Availability for shift work (including sleepovers & weekends)

Current Paid Blue Card

National Police Check (within 6 months)

Ability to obtain LCS checkHope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)
