A large Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations program is kicking off in Melbourne. A Senior Consultant-level D365 F&O; specialist is required to join the delivery team in a hands-on project environment.

This is not a “slide deck” role. It is workshops, design, configuration, testing support, and go-live.

What the role will be doing (more technical)

- Leading discovery and requirements workshops, then converting outcomes into fit-gap analysis , process maps, and solution options
- Producing functional design that is build-ready (user stories, acceptance criteria, configuration workbooks, traceability)
- Configuring D365 F&O; across agreed modules, including:
- parameters and feature enablement
- workflows and approvals
- security roles and duties (with support from security specialists where required)
- data entities and configuration data setup
- Working closely with technical teams on:
- integrations (API / middleware patterns, upstream/downstream impacts)
- data migration (mapping, validation rules, reconciliation, cutover sequencing)
- environment and release coordination (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod)
- Supporting test and release cycles:
- SIT/UAT planning support,



test scenario definition, defect triage, retest coordination
- go-live readiness, cutover support, hypercare inputs
- Producing clear delivery artefacts: functional specs, config decisions, test support docs, change notes, training inputs

What is needed

- Proven experience as a Senior Functional Consultant on Dynamics 365 F&O; programs
- Robust end-to-end delivery capability: requirements → design → config → test → deploy
- Confidence working with Finance and Operations stakeholders (able to run workshops and make decisions stick)
- Strong module experience in one or more of:
- Finance (GL/AP/AR/Fixed Assets)
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Supply Chain / Inventory / Warehousing
- Projects (program dependent)

Nice to have:

- Enterprise implementations and multi-entity rollouts
- Regulated environments
- Strong documentation discipline and comfort working in structured delivery governance
