Senior Data Scientist for QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, TAS locations

- Baseline Security Clearance

- QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, TAS

- Duration: 24 months + 24 months

Key Capabilities

- Experience delivering professional data science solutions in an operational workplace

- Experience in programming for AI and Machine Learning

- Experience with SQL, R/Python, and R Shiny Programming

- Hands on experience with EDW and cloud environments, ideally GCP

- Excellent at managing diverse stakeholder relationships to advance and achieve business objectives

- Proficient in statistical analysis

- Capable of developing innovative data-driven solutions using advanced analytics methologies

- Proven ability to set priorities, monitor progress and ensure the successful delivery of functions and programs

- Capable of meeting tight deadlines efficiently

- Ability to communicate data analysis to non-technical staff and managers

- Ability to promote data literacy through effective communication of data that is aligned with work processes





- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-funtional teams and engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

- Ideally, have knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule or the Pharmaceutical Benefits Schedule

Essential criteria

- 1.Demonstrated experience with data analytical platforms such as R Shiny, SAS, Power BI, Qlik

- 2.Demonstrated experience in programming for AI and Machine Learning

- 3.Demonstrated experience with EDW and cloud environments, ideally GCP

- 4.Demonstrated experience with SQL, and R or Python for programming

- 5.Demonstrated experience delivering professional data science solutions in an operational environment

- 6.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within team and across various areas of an organisation, manage diverse stakeholder relationships and communicate data analysis to non-technical stakeholders
