Senior Data Scientist – APS6 | Australian Government

? All States | Hybrid – 3 Days Office + 2 Days WFH

? Baseline Clearance Required

? 24 Months + 24 Month Extension

? Key Skills

- R Shiny – hands-on experience highly desirable
- AI/ML – model development, deployment & monitoring
- Strong SQL + R and/or Python
- SAS / Power BI / Qlik
- Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
- GCP / Google Cloud / BigQuery
- Predictive & statistical modelling
- Data visualisation & advanced analytics
- Production/operational data science experience
- Robust stakeholder & executive communication skills





⭐ Highly Desirable Experience with Medicare, MBS/PBS, healthcare, compliance analytics or Australian Government data will be advantageous.

Someone who can take data science solutions from development through to production , work with large/complex datasets, and confidently communicate analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
