This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how healthcare is delivered across South Western Sydney by ensuring hospitals and health services have the resources needed to provide safe, high quality care. As a key leader within one of NSW's largest and most complex health districts, the position influences strategic investment decisions, drives value across the organisation, and leads change initiatives that support sustainable improvements in service delivery. Working closely with senior clinical and corporate leaders, the role contributes to the development of innovative solutions that deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes for patients, staff, and the community.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

1. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline supported by demonstrated and extensive experience in a like role with a diverse government or commercial environment. Current member of relevant Professional Accounting body (CA/CPA/CIMA).
2. Describe a time when you developed and implemented a strategic procurement or supply initiative within a complex organisation.What was your approach, what challenges did you face, and what measurable outcomes were achieved?
3. This role works closely with senior clinical, corporate, and executive stakeholders.Provide an example of how you have successfully influenced diverse or competing stakeholder groups to achieve a shared outcome.
4. Strong governance and probity are essential in public sector procurement.Outline your experience ensuring compliance, managing risk, and maintaining transparency in procurement or contract management activities.
5. The role requires leading teams and supporting change across the organisation.Explain how you have led a team through change, improved ways of working, or delivered efficiencies while maintaining staff engagement and performance.
6. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
