The Company This established organisation operating within a large, complex and project driven environment is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join its team on a 6 month contract.

Based in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs and working closely with the CFO, this opportunity will suit a commercially minded finance skilled who combines strong business partnering capability with advanced Power BI, systems and reporting skills.

The Role Responsibilities Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a visible and hands on role partnering with stakeholders across the business. You will provide commercial and financial insight while also getting into the detail of systems, reporting and data to identify opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities will include:

- Partner with operational and senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support commercial decision making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance analysis, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities
- Build, maintain and improve financial and management reporting in Power BI, turning data into meaningful commercial insights
- Work across financial systems and a large ERP to maintain data integrity and improve reporting capabilities
- Partner with Supply Chain and other operational teams to improve coding,



data and system processes
- Review existing processes and systems, challenging current ways of working and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Support systems integration, finance improvement initiatives and ad hoc commercial projects

About You You will be an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner or commercially focused finance professional with strong budgeting, forecasting, analysis and stakeholder management skills. Advanced Power BI capability is essential, with the ability to build and improve reports, interrogate data and translate financial and operational information into meaningful commercial insights.

Experience within mining, resources, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure or another complex heavy industry environment will be highly regarded, along with exposure to a large ERP system.

You will be proactive and inquisitive, comfortable getting into the detail, challenging existing processes and driving improvements across the business.

This is a 6 month contract based in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs and requires someone who is comfortable working in the office 5 days per week.
