Carers and Disability Link (CADL) deliver compassionate and personalised support across regional South Australia to Carers, people with disability, children and young people and people aged over 65 years. We have offices in Woodside, Nuriootpa, Clare and Kadina.

CADL are currently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer four days per week to join the team in any of our four office locations.

Reporting to the CEO, and in support with our external payroll provider, you'll be responsible for supporting the organisation’s financial management and reporting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, effective financial controls, timely reporting, and compliance with relevant accounting, taxation and funding requirements.

The position provides financial information and advice to the Leadership Team and assists the CEO with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

You'll work closely with HR and other departments, providing a high level of customer service and payroll-related guidance to key stakeholders across the organisation. The role will suit a highly autonomous individual who can lead budget reviews, engaging with Leadership and reviewing process.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee fortnightly payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

· Managing statutory obligations

· Delivering accurate reporting for monthly and annual accounting requirements





· Assist managers with annual budget preparation.

· Prepare financial information required by funding bodies and stakeholders

· Supporting internal and external audits as required

· Staying abreast of legislative changes and industry trends

· Financial forecasting and business planning

Essential Requirements:

· Relevant qualification in accounting, finance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

· Significant experience in a finance/accounting role

· Experience with reconciliations, month-end processes and general ledger management

· Experience preparing budgets and monitoring expenditure

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines

· Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information to non-finance staff.
