We're looking for a naturally talented Full Stack .NET Developer to join our Product team. Our team is responsible for shaping the future of online marketing by helping our clients achieve their business goals through the creation of first to market features.

The successful candidate must be pro-active, have a solid work ethic and be a problem solver. As a member of a small team, the ability to communicate in a clear manner is essential.

You will work across both ends of our stack. That includes our established ASP.NET applications on .NET Framework 4.8 and our newer services on .NET 8 and .NET 10, plus the migration and modernisation work that moves us from one to the other. We are upfront about this because the spread is real. We want people who see modernising a working system as the interesting part of the job, not people who are surprised by it in week one.

We expect our senior developers to work with AI tooling, not around it. Developers who have built AI assistants into how they review, test and refactor code, and who know where those tools fall down, will have an advantage here.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

- Drive projects independently, from technical design to launch.
- Take a lead role in modernisation projects, including migrating ASP.NET Framework 4.8 applications to modern .NET, without disrupting the services our clients rely on.




- Collaborate with your team on architectural and process standards and apply them on new projects.
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation as well as take on complex bug fixes.
- Use AI coding assistants in your daily workflow for first-pass code review, test generation, refactoring and documentation, and apply your own judgement to everything that ships.
- Help the team set practical standards for AI-assisted development, including how AI-generated code is reviewed and where it needs closer scrutiny than hand-written code.
- Work closely with the CTO on high-priority projects and report frequently on your progress.
- Create clean, maintainable code at all times.
- Aim to constantly improve and expand a continuous delivery pipeline.
- Mentor junior developers to ensure success with code reviews.
- Manage source control branches and prepare releases for deployment.
- Adhere to programming and methodology standards.
- Extend and maintain internal web applications.
- Use modern web standards to build responsive sites and dynamic applications.
- Engage in development and technology discussions around industry standards and how we can use emerging technologies.

Desirable:
- Practical use of AI coding assistants on production work, for example Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar. Tell us what you use it for and what you don't.
- Ability to review AI-generated code critically and explain where it typically fails, such as invented APIs, insecure patterns, missed edge cases and plausible but wrong logic.
- Experience writing clear prompts and supplying the right context so AI output is useful on a large existing codebase.
- Awareness of the risks of AI-assisted development, including licensing, data handling and over-reliance, and how to manage them.
- Experience migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Core or modern .NET, including the decisions about what to port, what to rewrite and what to leave alone.
- Prior experience working with shopping cart software, for example Shopify, Magento 2 or WooCommerce.

Education and Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience as a senior developer.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Be forward-thinking, well organised, and have an obsession for detail.
- Full working rights in Australia with no sponsorship requirement.
