About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Hairstylists and motivated Apprentices to join our dynamic team at our Westfields Eastgardens NSW location. These are full-time & part-time positions offering above-award salaries that recognise your expertise and dedication. As a Senior Hairstylist or Apprentice, you will be at the heart of our salon operations, delivering outstanding results to our valued clients whilst mentoring junior staff and contributing to a positive, creative workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality hairstyling services to clients, including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences and hair care requirements
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and salon cleanliness at all times
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings




- Mentor and support apprentices and junior stylists in developing their technical and professional skills
- Keep up to date with current trends, techniques and industry best practices
- Manage client bookings efficiently and maintain accurate appointment records
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues in delivering excellence
- For Apprentices: Complete formal training and development as required by your apprenticeship programme

What we're looking for

- For Senior Hairstylists: Minimum 3+ years' experience in a professional salon environment, demonstrating mastery of cutting, colouring and styling techniques
- For Apprentices: A passion for hairstyling with a willingness to learn, combined with strong interpersonal skills and dedication to your training
- Current or willingness to obtain relevant hairdressing qualifications and certifications recognised within the industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- A creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to client requests and trends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work




- Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also managing your own client base
- Flexibility with working hours, including potential weekend and evening shifts
- For Senior Hairstylists: Proven ability to mentor and support junior staff members
- A genuine commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements
